Dani Pedrosa took to the top in FP2 from Jorge Lorenzo and Johann Zarco.

Once again, the rain started falling at the beginning of the session and initially the only rider on track was Karel Abraham. It took a while, but eventually all riders came out to set fast laps.

Dani Pedrosa worked his way up to become the only rider in the 1:59s, while his team mate Marc Marquez slipped back to fourth.

Pedrosa's fast lap also benefitted Abraham who had gained a tow behind the Spaniard in the closing minutes of FP2. Abraham was able to get into Dani's slip stream to jump up to fifth.

Sam Lowes is having a good weekend in Aragon so far. He's experienced success at MotorLand in the past with a win in Moto2, and this morning he managed a 12th place in FP1.

He ended FP2 in seventh, improving his time from this morning by just under three seconds.

Both Aleix and Pol Espargaro had an improved session this afternoon too. They finished FP1 in 15th and 17th respectively, but both managed to jump up to 9th and 10th in FP2 and improve their times dramatically.

Valentino Rossi won't be learning too much if these wet sessions continue, but he went out anyway and even sat within the top three - a huge feat considering his injury. He ended FP2 in 20th, just two seconds behind Pedrosa.
