The FIA is likely to alter the run-off at Parabolica following several incidents during the Italian Grand Prix weekend.
It was only in 2014 that the gravel trap, which had caught out multiple drivers through the decades, was moved back and a tarmac section installed.
This immediately caused issues with track limits and on Saturday, we saw Sebastian Vettel be very fortunate in keeping his Q3 time after appearing to stray all four wheels over the white line.
Earlier in the day, however, the deterrent of a kerb placed on the outside of the corner had to be removed when Alex Peroni's car took off into the catch fencing during the F3 race.
That has left the FIA needing to find a solution both issues, with simply returning Parabolica to how it used to be one idea being considered.
“We’ve just got to look at it all. Is it bringing gravel back, is it having a double kerb and gravel, is it grass, all of the various solutions that we’ve got available and it’s having a look at all of it,” race director Michael Masi told RaceFans.
“It’s not as simple as just saying ‘yep, bang, let’s fix that’. There’s a whole lot of various inputs and factors that need to be looked at.”

Perhaps disappointingly from a corner challenge point of view, he also admits a technical solution is more likely.
“For me, that’s a sort of prime area where you possibly put timing loops similar to what we have at Spa. That way it’s just automatic," Masi stated.
“Anything that can be automated makes all of our lives far easier.”
