There is uncertainty over whether Kimi Raikkonen will race at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.
Earlier on Thursday, a report suggested Alfa Romeo third driver Marcus Ericsson would be replacing Antonio Giovinazzi at Spa, having been asked to skip his IndyCar race in Portland to attend.
That was denied by the team who confirmed the Swede's presence but insisted it was business as usual with their drivers.
Latest speculation, however, claims it is Raikkonen who could be stuck on the sidelines having picked up a leg injury.
Ironically ahead of the Belgian race, the 2007 world champion admitted he wouldn't mind a few more weeks on holiday.
“If you ask me the break could always be longer as I enjoyed time with my family a lot, but I’m also looking forward to be back in the car,” he said.

It would be a blow if Raikkonen did miss the Belgian GP, as he is the most successful current driver with four wins.
However: “I’ve just been told that I’m called ‘The King of Spa’ because I’ve won there several times, but that doesn’t mean anything to me," he stated.
“Yes, it’s my favourite track, but more important is that we work hard to get the best out of the car and continue our good run from the last races before the break.”
