Igor Fraga is clearly the fastest of the qualifying tests at Monza, the last round of the challenging Formula Regional European Championship 2019, with 1:46.581 and 1:46.023.

The winner of the title, Frederik Vesti (Prema Powerteam) is always fast, but this time he is second in both sessions, slower by respectively 479 and 180 hundredths of a second, demonstrating the incredible speed of the Brazilian here in Monza.

But in reality, it is the whole DR Formula by RP Motorsport that has probably found a good set-up, since third in the first session is Raul Guzman, fourth in the second session.

In the fight for the second position in the final championship standings, where Fraga is still mathematically in the fight, albeit quite far away, Enzo Fittipaldi, excellent in morning free practice, is relegated to the last position due to a technical problem, but with pride recovers to the third position in the second session.

In the battle for second place overall, David Schumacher, who has found incredible speed since mid-season, is third in the first session and fourth in the second.

Race 3 grid, defined on the base of best second times, sees first again Fraga, in front of Vesti and Fittipaldi.

With 41 points to be recovered on Fittipaldi, and with the Brazilian penalized by the technical problem in the first session, the show promises to be exciting and the battle open until the last race.
